11th Lecture Series on Methods of Teaching Religious Studies

The 11th Lecture Series on METHODS OF TEACHING RELIGIOUS STUDIES is organized by La Consolacion College—Bacolod (LCC-B) and the Philippine Association of Catholic Religious Educators (PACRE) on Saturdays of November and December 2017. As part of PACRE’s continuing professional education program for religion and values education teachers, catechists, and campus ministers, the lecture aims to provide religion teachers a strong foundation and a thorough grasp of concepts, theories, principles, and teaching-learning process. Specifically, this lecture aims to improve the competency of those teachers who are already in the service of teaching by updating them with current practices in religious education and new strategies and techniques in teaching. Likewise, it will develop their administrative and supervisory skills by equipping them with the new discovery and programs in the teaching profession.

A registration fee of Two Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Pesos (P2,250.00) is charged for PACRE members and Three Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Pesos (P3,000.00) for non-PACRE members for all sessions.  This fee includes the certificate of attendance, research conference, and culminating activity fee.

For participants who wish to attend a particular topic only, they will be charged Php500.00 per session.

Furthermore, like the previous lectures, complete attendance to these 6-day lectures will be given 3 credit units in the event the participant decides to enroll in our Master of Arts in Education, major in Religious Studies.
